Ultrapanel’s foundations are built on the 40-year legacy of Ultraframe, the UK’s original off-site manufacturer of precision-engineered roofing systems. Since 1983, Ultraframe has produced more than 25,000 roofs annually from a 500,000 sq ft manufacturing facility, establishing an unrivalled reputation for manufacturing at pace with millimetre precision.
Established in 2021 as part of the Ultraframe Group, Ultrapanel Building Technologies continues this tradition of innovation, precision and performance. The business has a clear purpose: to deliver the next generation of Structural Insulated Panel (SIP) systems for a more sustainable built environment. Designed as an off-site manufactured, precision-engineered solution, Ultrapanel’s SIP technology brings together high performance, quality assurance and significant waste reduction.
Redefining standards
Initially developed for the new-build housing sector, the Ultrapanel next generation SIP system offers a scalable, low-carbon alternative to traditional construction and is fully accredited by both the BBA and NHBC. Building on this capability, Ultrapanel has since expanded into the retrofit and decarbonisation market with the Ultrapanel External Wall Insulation (EWI) System. Manufactured off-site to exacting tolerances, this innovative solution enables rapid, low-disruption installation across a wide range of property types. It delivers outstanding thermal performance and durability while minimising on-site waste and ensuring consistent quality—supporting the large-scale delivery of net-zero retrofit programmes.
